them in for the night, I use my melodramatic
voice and solemnly say "this is the last day you
will ever be xx.". It gets a giggle every time.
The next morning, once we have sung the
birthday song, the next question is,
"So, how do you feel? Older? Wiser?". This year
Jenna says " Older, not really but yeah, definitely
wiser. Yes, much wiser."
She was so proud to turn 7. She made sure everyone
she met was aware it was her special day. To top it off,
Grammy and Papa came over that night to enjoy cake
and presents with us.
