Summer is almost over, school starts on Monday.
I always try and take off the last few days of
summer break to spend with the kids. It was
even more fun this year because Jennifer
and a few of Ian's friends' Moms were also off
of work. Thursday, we all met up at Pump It Up.
It might be the most fun I have had since, well,
July. The point is, it was fun.

Ian says, "C'mon in and have some fun!"

Don't you love Morgan's bangs? They're new
and I think they are adorable. These girls
are such good friends...even better that they
are cousins!

I love pictures of Ian jumping
because it makes his hair look
even crazier than normal.

Jennifer and Chelsea taking a
break from jumping.
Next up, races through the obstacle
courses. I love Mo's socks...can't miss
'em.

Jennifer does not let her kids win. She is a true
competitor. She went all out every round.
Yes, that khaki bum coming over the
hurdle is Jennifer. No, she did not win. But,
she had a ton of fun.

Angel (Brandon's Mom), Brenden (Brandon's
nephew), Morgan and Jenna (look closely)
coming through the obstacle course. I think
Morgan won again!

Ian and Brandon coming down the slide for the
last leg of the course. Brandon won this round!

We all loved the mega-slide~
including Chelsea!

Jennifer and I raced down the slide. She won...
this time!

Jenna and Morgan, sliding together...laughing
all the way!

I even knew he was coming and
he still got me!

This is what happens when someone else is holding
my camera. I promised Jennifer that as horrible
as I look, this would make the blog.
We were in the middle of a furious game of
dodge ball. This was perhaps the best part
of the Pump It Up adventure.

Morgan was deciding who to take aim at.

No fair...I'm taking pictures! Yes, this one hit
me square in the face, but at least I got the
shot. Drake is laid out, Brandon took a break
to dunk a basket and Morgan is waiting to see
who makes the best target. (You know it's her
because of the socks!)

Travis, Brandon's older brother, and Ian.

The Boys...Brandon, Ian and Drake

The Gang of Children
Chelsea, Brenden, Brandon, Ian, Drake, Jenna
and Morgan.

Cheers...Here's to an awesome day!
We followed up our fun with lunch at Chik Fil A.
DAY TWO

Ian and Brandon offered to help
Mrs. Beaty (Littleton Elementary's
guidance counselor) deliver soda
(POP for you Iowans) tabs to
The Ronald McDonald House.
Jenna and I helped them load
up the car and then headed out
for some bowling fun with
the Forrer Girls.

More cousin love

That is true fashion, choosing
the bowling ball that matches
your outfit!

Chelsea and her friend Brianna, hanging out
waiting for their turn to bowl.

And the winner is....Jennifer.
This was WAY better than work! I love being
able to spend some time before summer break
ends just playing with the kids. Sharing our
fun adventures with family and friends made
it even better. Thanks everyone for such fun
times!
